Name: Chris Moore
School: NAU and Fresno State
Christopher was born in Las Vegas, NV, but raised in the San Jose, California. He started his college career at Northern Arizona University where he pledged the illustrious fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi in the spring of 1988. He then, transferred to Fresno State University in the fall of ’89. While there he assisted the 5 other Neophytes on the campus expand our brotherhood. Fresno has since established a Chapter with an Alumni Chapter coming soon.
Christopher Graduated from Fresno State in 1993 with a degree in Criminology. He worked at various group homes in the city of Fresno and then went to work at the Fresno County Juvenile Hall for seven years. Counseling the youth and providing them with the tools to create a better life for them. After 12 years in Fresno, he chose to relocate to Las Vegas acquiring employment as a Parole and Probation Officer for the State of Nevada. He worked that position assisting adults with getting their lives back on track. While working he acquired his Master degree in Education Counseling and decided to switch his career into the education field. He has over 20 years of experience with counseling youth; therefore he felt he could help make a difference with those choosing to make a difference with in them. He is currently working for the Clark County School District as a Therapeutic Counselor.
